Abstract :

In today’s world, columnar databases play a crucial role in managing massive volumes of data. With the rapid growth of applications and the increasing demand for fast and accurate data processing, understanding the architecture and performance of these databases has become essential. This paper focuses on databases such as Cassandra, Kudu, HBase, Bigtable, MariaDB, and Greenplum, examining their features, advantages, and limitations. The aim is to provide a comprehensive perspective to help select the most suitable database system based on specific user needs and application types. By thoroughly comparing the architecture and key capabilities of these systems, this study offers practical guidance for developers and data analysts. The emphasis on columnar data models, which provide advantages in fast analytical processing and high scalability, forms the core framework of this research. financial structure.
