Abstract :

A zwitterionic polymer wound dressing incorporating cerium-based MOFs (Ce-MOFs) was developed to enhance antibacterial performance. The polymer was characterized using NMR and FTIR, while SEM confirmed uniform Ce-MOF dispersion within the film. Antibacterial tests revealed significant improvement compared to pure polymer films, attributed to the synergy between the polymer’s antifouling property and Ce³⁺ ion release. This composite shows strong potential for next-generation wound dressings.
